WHAT IS Team oregon?

Based out of the Portland Metro area, Team Oregon welcomes players from all across the state of Oregon, as well as Southwest Washington, to participate in tournament teams, clinics, enrichment programs, and leagues year-round.

Team Oregon prides itself on the growth of our players as athletes, lacrosse players, and young men. We're committed to the retention of the best coaches and leaders of young men the Oregon area has to offer and we are thrilled about our current staff list. We continue to prioritize and invest in the growth of our players' lacrosse IQ, individual skills, athleticism, and character in any and all of our programming. 

I MISSED TRYOUTS. CAN I STILL BE CONSIDERED FOR A TEAM?

Yes you can! Though we strongly encourage all interested players to attend team tryouts, if you have a conflict (and we have openings) please send us a message and we will find a way to evaluate your son, be it through referrals, film, an invitation to practice, or otherwise.

I PLAYED WITH Team oregon LAST SEASON. DO I NEED TO COME TO TRYOUTS?

Yes, we ask that all players who are being considered for a select team register for and attend tryouts. This allows our coaching staff to get the most complete evaluation for each age group, both to see the development of our returning players, as well as evaluate the skills of new players relative to our existing members. 

HOW CAN I TELL MY COACH I WON'T BE AT PRACTICE?

You can download the Sportsengine App to stay connected via schedules, rosters, and messaging directly to your coaches. Log in with the account info you used to register your son to be linked to the team page.

WILL THE Team oregon SCHEDULE INTERFERE WITH MY OTHER SPORTS SCHEDULES?

We plan the Team Oregon Fall/Winter/Summer practices to allow players to participate in conjunction with their other Sports. Please ensure that you communicate any schedule conflicts to your coach well in advance.

DOES THE TEAM COST INCLUDE TRAVEL?

The team cost does not include team travel. This allows families to travel together, and to create a schedule that works best for their own needs. Group lodging blocks are available to provide families with a cheaper lodging option for travel tournaments.
